Commemorating Carmen Comeaux

Greetings Trinitarians -

Today I write with the news that Carmen Comeaux passed away this morning. You can read her obituary here.

I know you will join me in sharing condolences for Scott, Toby, Eva, and the whole family.

Services will be held at Trinity on Wednesday, April 24th. Visitation begins at 8AM, with breakfast and fellowship in the Family Center until 10AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 10AM, with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Carencro.

Though we grieve, we grieve with a genuine hope in the resurrection of Christ. Paul describes it this way:

"We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).

By the grace of God and Carmen's manifest faith, we have every confidence of Carmen's eternal reward. The Lord bless her and keep her, make his face to shine upon her and be gracious unto her, lift up his countenance upon her, and give her peace.

Every blessing to you in Christ -
Peter
