Trinity Scholars on J. I. Packer

Greetings, Trinitarians!

I write briefly today with an invitation to our fall Trinity Scholars class. We'll be meeting on Saturday mornings from 8AM to 10AM, beginning tomorrow. Our topic for this year is the works of J. I. Packer. Packer is a brilliant writer and also a theologian of our own tradition and our own time. He was one of the leaders of the Anglican Realignment in the early 2000s until his recent death.

Our focus in the fall is the early books of J. I. Packer, focusing on Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God, God Has Spoken, and Knowing God. In the spring, we'll continue our study of Packer by looking at a few of his later works.

Living Stones Update #13
Construction will continue in the coming weeks, as our framers come back to work on trusses. We have also been ordering a variety of materials that will go into the new construction, including windows and exterior stone. We believe we will be on track to relocate from the sanctuary to the family center right after Christmas.
