To the saints of Trinity, greetings in the Lord!
Our outreach team is putting on a Lenten Fish Fry tomorrow, to benefit the Hunter family and their new campus ministry. Dinners will be available starting at 4pm, and you can even make a pre-order on the Trinity app! (Or by just sending a note to Amy).
As a reminder, the Hunters have been worshiping with us over the past two years, driving down from Ruston twice a month, while Adam has entered the ordination process and theological formation. Last year, the Hunters discerned a call to campus ministry at UL in Lafayette, and are moving here this spring. We are calling the campus ministry Campus Communion, and you can see the website here.
This is an immense leap of faith for the Hunters, as Adam leaves his secular employment and begins to fundraise for full-time ministry. To support the Hunters, the we have dedicated 2.5% of the Trinity offerings to Campus Communion, so please know that you are already supporting the work through your regular giving. But if God is calling you to do more for the ministry, you can go to the website to join as a prayer partner or to make further donations. And of course you can always talk to the Hunters about other ways to get involved.
