After church on Sunday, please stay for our Pro-Life Potluck! During the meal, we will hear from the leaders of the Lafayette and Opelousas Pregnancy Centers, and offer a donation of diapers and financial support. Bring a box of diapers to add to the stack, as we provide help and hope to mothers in need.
This week is an appropriate time for our potluck, as today marks both the Anniversary of the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v Wade, and also the Feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist. The alignment of these two days is a wonderful providence, for John the Baptist recognized Jesus even when both were in the womb! Finally, please note that we will NOT have Sunday School before the service, since we are staying for the potluck after the service.
