Growth & the Pelloni Family

Greetings, saints of Trinity -

Grace and peace to you in Christ!

I praise God for our growing church, and give thanks to each of you for your warm hospitality in the midst of this season of growth. There's great encouragement in this regard from Hebrews 13:2: "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

Last Sunday we had 98 in attendance, including multiple recent families and a few brand new visitors. As we continue to support this growth, I'll take an opportunity to offer a few practical suggestions:

1) Come to church early, so you avoid the rush and get to choose your seat. You will be far ahead of the game, of course, if you come to Sunday School @ 9AM!
2) When you select a seat, bias toward the front of the sanctuary. This leaves space in the back, especially for recent and new visitors.
3) If there are no more seats, or you prefer a more expansive space, we have established overflow seating in the Family Center, with the live-stream in high-definition. If you are in the overflow space, please come back to the sanctuary to receive communion.
4) As we welcome lots of new people and adjust to a tighter space, there will inevitably be moments of frustration that may try our patience. Let's assume God is giving this season to us for our sanctification!

Finally, I'm excited that this weekend we have the opportunity to meet the Pelloni Family, Anglican Missionaries to Cambodia. A great opportunity to meet them and hear about their mission is Bingo on Friday night, from 5:30 to 8:00. You can also read a profile of their missionary work in this article on Anglican Compass. On Sunday morning, we will pray over the Pellonis, and donate to them proceeds from the Bingo night together with any designated gifts in the Sunday offering.

With every blessing in Christ -
Peter
