Greetings Trinitarians -
I'm writing today with an attached PDF of our Trinity Lenten Devotional. I've begun to read the reflections and they are wonderful! So pick up a physical copy at church, or download the PDF here.
Also, please note that the time will change this Sunday. And because it is spring, we lose an hour. If you arrive at 10AM on the old time, you'll be just in time for lunch!
Living Stones Update #1
In my Rector's Reports over the next year, I'll include a series of updates related to our Living Stones Sanctuary Expansion. These will include reports on latest progress, information on the moves we will be making, tips for navigating the transition, and encouragement to remain focused on our mission.
In this first update, I'm excited to share that we had a meeting this week with our builder Walter Arceneaux, focused on the renovation of the Family Center. He presented quotes from a host of subcontractors, for everything from demolition to HVAC to flooring. The first step is demolition, and that is likely to begin next week or the following. So we can use the family center this Sunday for our lunch (and Keith & Kylee shower), but it will likely be the last time for a few months.
Relatedly, our community groups that usually meet in the family center are now using the sanctuary. They will switch back to the family center when the renovation is done. Let's keep everyone in prayer and remain flexible as we navigate this season of building!
